The MOB+ has built in power saving features which helps increase battery life of the xHUB and also protects your battery in your boat from being drained.
If you are an active boater and use your boat for prolonged periods of time e.g. professional /commercial user it is important to note the timeout features of the system which will disconnect the wireless connection and stop the engine after a set time if the system is not interacted with.
MOB+ Generation 1 - Singlefob
- In the first version of the MOB+the timeout period is 10 hours. This means that if you stay connected for 10 hours the system will give a warning before it disconnects the xFOB and stops the engine to avoid draining the power.
- The user can extend the timeout period by pressing the button on the xHUB when the warning comes, or by disconnecting and reconnecting the xFOB. Each new connection made with the xFOB will reset the timeout.
MOB+ Generation 2 - Multifob
- In the first version of the MOB+the timeout period is 20 hours. This means that if you stay connected for 20 hours the system will give a warning before it disconnects the xFOB and stops the engine to avoid draining the power.
- The user can extend the timeout period by pressing the button on the xHUB when the warning comes, or by disconnecting and reconnecting the xFOB. Each new connection made with the xFOB will reset the timeout.
